Please read the bulletin board in the phototherapy rooms at each visit for any schedule changes as they will be posted there.
Although the office staff arrive earlier, phototherapy treatment officially starts at 7:30 am. Earlier treatment may occasionally be provided at the discretion of the phototherapists, however they have other responsibilities during that time.
- Please note that treatments stop promptly at 11:45 a.m. since the phototherapy machines are cleaned and calibrated at that time.
- Please make sure you check in with reception staff upon arrival so that they know you are here for treatment. Do not go into the treatment room until you are directed to do so by one of the phototherapists. If there are other patients waiting for the same treatment room, you might experience a short wait. Once you are in the treatment room and ready for treatment, please telephone one of the phototherapists to advise her that you are ready. Their telephone numbers are posted on the bulletin board. After you have called and spoken to one of the phototherapists, she will come in and give you your treatment. The phototherapists make every reasonable effort to minimize your waiting time. However, the office is very busy and circumstances might prevent them from immediately coming into the treatment room. This could result in a short wait. Please do not call the phototherapists again unless you have had to wait for 10 minutes or more and they have not been in the room. We appreciate your patience if you experience a delay in receiving treatment.
- The light room will closed on statutory holidays which will be posted on the board in the light rooms.
